Before becoming a counsellor, I enrolled on a bereavement training course with Cruse Bereavement Care, but after a couple of years, I realised that truly supporting clients required upskilling and understanding their emotional and mental worlds.
I completed a rigorous five year-training and qualified as a Psychodynamic counsellor. In my counselling work I have counselled clients through a wide range of presenting concerns and have worked in a mental health setting, a counselling organisation including charitable, NHS, corporate and private.
I have always had a passion for listening to people and guiding them to live more meaningful lives, free from emotional turmoil and pain.
We all struggle at different points in our life, and feeling safe in a non-judgemental environment, is a good starting point for counselling. I aim to offer a warm, welcoming space where you hopefully can express your true self.
